For those who would rather be catered for than to cater for themselves, Gibbs Hill Farmhouse offers you a warm northern welcome to a traditional farmhouse bed and breakfast in a superb location.

Accommodation

As a guest you will be guaranteed the northern welcome into a beautifully decorated farmhouse, with magnificent views of Hadrian's Wall.

Accommodation is available in the choice of five en-suite bedrooms; three large en-suite double-bedded rooms and two large en-suite twin-bedded rooms.

• Curlew - beautiful double bedded en-suite room with spectacular views of the Roman Hadrian's Wall.
• Lapwing - spacious ensuite room with luxurious super kingsize bed and breathtaking views over to the south and east and Hadrian's Wall
• Osprey - pretty double bed ensuite room with bath and shower and views over the fells.
• Kestrel - twin bedded en-suite room with wonderful views over the farm and Greenlee Lough.
• Merlin - double twin accommodation with en suite shower and expansive views over the fells.

Facilities

Included in all the rooms are TV, [satellite TV from June 2009], tea and coffee making facilities, central heating with individual controls and spring water.

The guest lounge, with its' own open fire, has a colour television.

The farmhouse breakfast, where you may sample the free-range eggs is served in the large dining room, where guests may chat to other guests while enjoying traditional farmhouse cooking. All food served at Gibbs Hill uses home or locally produced meat and vegetables, and much of it has been organically produced.
Packed lunches can be provided.

Delicious home cooked evening meals sample our home grown vegetables and lamb and beef from Gibbs Hill farm. for large groups only.

The house operates a no-smoking policy for your enjoyment.
